Busy Busy Busy!

Well, I have the opportunity of a lifetime and I am RUNNING with it! I was offered an internship at MIXOLOGY's warehouse! I'm doing little things, but it's always great to learn. Everyone is so fantastic and caring, and I couldn't ask for more!

And with that, I've been able to have a few items of my own, including this GORGEOUS dress (which I wore to see How To Succeed on Broadway!):

Warped Tour '11

I looked for a great outfit all day, but didn't see one worth noting until A Day To Remember, (aka the last set of the Long Island date):

At first, I  noticed the feathers in the girl to the far right's hair. Then, I noticed her sister, on the far left, who had a really cute hairdo and a cute pair of shorts. I thought to myself: Wait, she wasn't wearing that before... Then I looked closely and realized that these two well-dressed girl were sisters! After that, I saw the girl in the middle who was with them. Her top was to die for. Immediately, I knew that they needed to be my Warped Tour street style girls!

My Favorite Place

I was browsing Long Island's Cold Spring Harbor when I came across one of my favorite stores, My Favorite Place. I made my way through the little shop and VOILE! I discovered this girl and her fantastic style!! The gingham skirt (which, if I'm correct, is from J Crew [I have the same one in green]) and girly, airy top are perfectly accented by that GORGEOUS unique belt!! Not to mention that her glasses are completely adorable!
NAILING IT, LONG ISLAND!!!

Ann Taylor's take on STRIPES: You're doing it RIGHT!

Lea Michele at the 2011 Met Ball:

If you can't read my handwriting, which you PROBABLY cant, I'll translate:

Here's what it says at the bottom:
Overall, this outfit was KILLER. The blue and red palette is ULTRA-flattering for her pale skin and brown hair. The long straight hair, drop earrings, and strapless dress elongate her neck and give her a graceful, ballerina-esque look.
--------------------------
I absolutely fell IN LOVE with her clutch. Honestly, I want my own! Her makeup was excellent and the whole outfit was incredible.

Theo Stockman, looked AH-mazing as always!

Spring/Summer '11 Daytime Makeup Tutorial

Inspired by:

Step 1:
I covered my face in Philosophy face primer and then foundation to hide any blemishes. Then, I blotted Mary Kay concealer under my eyes.

Step  2:
I used an angled brush for Nars' Orgasm Blush on the apples of my cheeks:

Step 3:
I prepped my eyelids by using a Too Faced eye primer, first. Then, I used Bare Mineral's Garland eyeshadow. Third, I used a brown eyeliner on my upper eyelid and lower lash line. Finally, I curled my eyelashes and then used Dior black mascara on both my upper and lower lashes.

Step 4:
Finally, I laid on a layer of Makeup Forever's #37 and then blotted a little Mary Kay Lipgloss (Pink Diamonds) over it.

AND VIOLE!
